I went there for a company event. Course has been selected days before. The goat cheese salad was excellent. The cheese and sweet nuts taste surprisingly very match and refreshing. The rib eye steak was quite disappointing. It was thin yet overcooked. The Christmas puddings was too sweet which I could not even finish it. I am not sure if regular menu and preordered group menu may have a difference.
🚨🚨🚨 Poor Service and Billing Issues 🚨🚨🚨
I'd like to share my recent experience with F&B, where my friends and I were unfortunately met with less than satisfactory service.
From the onset, the staff was rather pushy, frequently urging us to place our order even though we already told her we were waiting for a friend to join us. As first-time visitors, we were unaware that the establishment charged for some kinds of water – a fact that was not communicated to us when we were asked if we wanted some water. Our waitress' attitude significantly soured when we expressed we not expecting for to be paid water before the bottle was opened.
Moreover, the staff's lackadaisical approach extended to the billing process. We were erroneously charged for a bottle of wine that was served to an adjacent table. This mistake, combined with the earlier incident, painted a picture of disorganization and lack of attention to detail.
In a dining establishment, particularly a grand steakhouse, where one expects a certain level of service and professionalism, such experiences leave a bitter taste. I believe it's essential for the restaurant management to address these issues to improve their customer service and ensure accurate billing.
Came here with couple of friends for lunch, and was thoroughly impressed by the restaurant. It was quite easy to locate, in the heart of Causeway Bay. I ordered a steak and fries. The steak was above average, not really soft enough, but the fries were really good, probably the best fries that I have tasted in my life. The service was also really great, as our waiter was very friendly and hospitable to us and helped us take a couple of group photos. Overall, 5 stars for the amazing experience, hoping to be back soon!
Lovely birthday experience for my kid where he gets to choose the steak he wants and request it to be done the way he likes. Lovely cozy restaurants for good chats. The staff are very friendly, polite and attentive to details.
Their wagu beef jerky is awesome. I got it from their grocery shop previously and love how you get those fatty layer in the jerky. The prawn toast has a generous amount of seasme on top giving the toasted aroma. My kid said he can't taste the prawns. Maybe have them less minced and give it in bigger chunk for a bite?
The steak was done to our preference 😊
First time at this location but I've been to their other locations many times. Great atmosphere, same as expected from all their locations.
Food presentation is excellent and the fries were amazing but that's all the praise I have. Croque Monsieur is lifeless, they constructed the sandwich and simply put it under a salamander to melt the cheese. This left the bread untoasted and the ham no warmer than when it was sliced. The only life to this was the sharp mustard which was over generous and over powered the gruyere.
My fish and chips had excellent chips and the fish was fried perfectly but the fish itself was extremely dry. No amount of tartar sauce was rescuing this , I couldn't even finish it.
Fabulous evening with a great group of friends and fantastic food. There were 8 of us so we pre-ordered the beef wellington set. We topped that off with lamb chops, tandoori chicken, ribeye, and mussels along with a smattering of sides and starters. It was a feast. The beef wellington is enormous. It says it feeds 3-4 but we each got a massive piece. So impressed with how beautifully the beef wellington was prepared. I thought we might have overdone it on the ordering (for both the food and the drinks) but at the end of the evening, everything was gone save one chocolate mousse and a tiny strip of ribeye.
Overall good atmosphere and good pacing of the meal. Few miscommunications here and there with the staff, primarily around happy hour drinks (2 for 1, which drinks, pouring in wrong glasses, etc). But really pretty minor.
If you need a meat feast, Feather & Bone is your place! It's not cheap, but well worth it.
T bone is 50percent off on every Tuesday and it is so delicious. Side dish pumpkin tasted like an Indian food and we really liked it!
Relaxed dining. High quality steaks and food presentation but not stuffy atmosphere
